size 7.75 to 8 — because of the curvature of the back of the starburst the ring doesn't sit flush against the sizing mandrel. it slides down to a size 7.75, but there's still a small gap. It's close to a size 8 than a size 7.75 and this style can easily be sized

setting measures ~9mm x ~7mm and features a ~2mm diamond

in good pre-loved condition

it recently had a tune-up as the cut-out shoulders had been bent toward each other, reducing the negative space between them. they've been bent nearly back to their original positions, but they have minor curves that hint that they'd had a misadventure

surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the gold

it's reasonable to suspect that the starburst setting is semi hollow, but it doesn't have any major dents or crushed areas
